In Mississauga, Ontario, St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church and the Elementary School of the same name, both experienced multiple incidences of defacement and graffiti as reported by CP24. The first incidence of graffiti affected both the Church and School; black spray painted covered outside walls. The second incident however was much more intense. The school had an anti-Semitic message on one wall and the Church had more black spray paint on one of its walls as well. Most disturbing was the spray paint covering the Church’s statue of the Virgin Mary. The last incident were diagrams and words however, these did not signify the same kind of alarm from the Peel Regional Police. The investigation is on-going.
