A theft at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Huron County results in nearly $10k loss, reports CKNXNewsToday.ca.
The items stolen are as listed, a gold plated chalice, a paten, a gold plated monstrance for adoration, gold plated censer, a small silver host box, and a small ciborium with four small ciborium lids.
Huron County OPP are investigating and think that the perpetrator(s) went through the Bronson Line and gained access to the church through an open, unlocked door.
