Three places, St. Pius X Catholic Church, Gonzaga High School and Rennie’s River Elementary School had all been affected by a vandalism spree, perpetrated by three individuals, reports CBC News.
Each of the three places had damages done- broken windows and doors. The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary had received a call at 9 p.m. that there had been broken windows at Gonzaga High School.
Officers were able to identify three suspects linked to these incidents. Two men, an 18 year old and a 19 year old were kept in custody overnight and had a provincial court hearing. The young woman, 17 years old was released and her court date was set for a later time.
The three individuals had been found in the Long Pond area after the call had been placed.
