Reported in July, St. Anne-Des-Pins Church in Sudbury, Ontario experiences property damage to their statue of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus once more in the weekend of June 19 to the 20, reports CBC News. The Church’s statue had been previously damaged in years past, both times the head of the baby Jesus had been broken off the statue and stolen. St. Anne-Des-Pins Church does have surveillance cameras outside the perimeter, however, the chair of the administration of the Church failed to report the incident. These vandalism occurrences are an on-going issue for the Church and there is a possibility of adding a fence to the property. Overall, the chair of the administration hopes the incidences will stop.
