Our Lady of Lebanon Church Virgin Mary Statue Damaged in Parkdale, Toronto

Just outside the main entrance doors of the Our Lady of Lebanon Church in Parkdale, Toronto, the statue of the Virgin Mary has been damaged reports The Catholic Register. Surveillance footage shows the suspect beheading the statue. Police have released the image of the suspect. Pastor of the Parish, Fr. Wahid El Koury states how the damaging of the statue hurts after the explosion that happened in Beirut, Lebanon. The explosion killed 200 people and injured many others. The police are investigating the incident but have no further leads.
