St. Rita’s Catholic Parish and Kinnaird Community Church in Castlegar, British Columbia, were both set on fire during Holy Week, reports CBC News. St. Rita’s Catholic Parish suffered damage through the entire Parish only leaving the hall and rectory intact. Police force believes both fires have been set by the same arsonist or multiple arsonists, and that the relation to the fires being set at places of worship are cause to be wary. Currently the churchgoers of St. Rita’s are trying to find other Churches to hold and celebrate their Holy Week and Easter.
