Outside St. Pius X Catholic Church, in North Vancouver, British Columbia, a statue of Jesus has been targeted and graffitied multiple times, as reported by CTV News. Along with the graffitiing of the statue, the statue had also been damaged previously resulting in $5,000 of repairs. The statue during this particular incident had its’ chest and genital area targeted. In the previous year, the Christmas-time statue of the baby Jesus had also been stolen and its’ arm broken off. Later it had been returned, as reported by North Shore News. The police have an ongoing investigation of these occurrences.
