As reported by Oshawa This Week, St. Philip the Apostle Church was the target of a suspicious arson in Oshawa.
In the early morning of Christmas Day, located at Oxford Street, the church had suffered a fire. There were three broken windows seen on the site, suggesting that that is how the perpetrator(s) gained access to commit the crime.

Some of the statues outside of the church had been damaged as well as the three broken windows. There were no reported injuries.
