At St. Patrick’s Basilica in Ottawa, Ontario, a woman rushed the altar and vandalized the Church’s crucifix. She has since been charged for two separate incidences, reports CTV News. The first incident, dated January 30, police allege that the perpetrator, Katherine Spero broke parts of statues in the Church. For both incidences, investigators are looking for witnesses.
