St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church has suffered extensive damages when vandals broke in, reports CTV News. The historic Church in the Fisher Branch area has had its windows smashed, paintings ruined with graffiti, a door ripped from its hinges and inside the Church was littered. The cost of the damages has yet to be determined. The historic Church has been closed for a few years but the community recognizes its importance and significance. The community is rallying together to repair the damages and has currently boarded up the broken windows. The Fisher Branch RCMP are still investigating the matter.
