In a nation-wide spree of vandalism, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia has been hit with graffiti, reports True North News. The Church had been hit with red-orange paint and hand prints on the front doors and stairs. Multiple Churches have been burned or graffitied following the announcement of the findings of remains at former Residential Schools across the country. Police who are investigating remain attentive and sensitive to the nature of the crimes and maintain their understanding during the investigations.
