In Verner, Ontario, St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church, a local school and France Gareau Park were all hit with red spray paint, reports CBC News. The spray paint graffiti was found on sidewalks, park toys, and walls. The graffiti is lewd in nature, with a sign of “West Side Bloods”. At St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church road closure signs were hung from the religious statues. The West Nipissing Police have no knowledge of gang affiliations in the area, but they are keeping that options as a possibility. The red spray paint has been the same in all cases, linking the incidents together. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police directly.
