The Catholic News Agency reports that St. George Parish in Ottawa was graffitied by vandals.
On the front and side of St. George blue graffiti paint was found. Upside down crosses and anti Christian statements had been found painted on and the statements hinted to hell and Satan.
The parish priest, Fr. Leonard St. John does not believe that the vandalism is a hate crime. He noted that the misspelling might indicate that the actions were just mere vandalism and not much more than that.
Fr. Leonard says that the removal of the graffiti vandalism will take hundreds of dollars.
