Following the release of the Former Kamloops Indian Residential School site children remains in Vancouver, British, St. Augustine’s Catholic Church has been hit with graffiti reports Global News. Statements such as, “Release the records,” and, “Killers,” were spray painted on the front of the Church. A St. Augustine Church member explains that their Church was not involved with the residential schools. St. Augustine’s Catholic Church being targeted is one of the many following the outrage that has been shown involving the discovery of the remains. Churches are not the only buildings or structures being targeted. Statues of famous landmark people in history are also being torn down, destroyed or defaced.
