As reported in The Peterborough Examiner, St. Anthony Mission Church Grotto in Woodville, Ontario was graffitied with spray paint on the glass covering of the statue. The Grotto is just outside of the Mission Church, and during the weekend is when parishioners noticed the graffiti. The nature of the writing of the graffiti suggests that the vandal who did it knew details about the saint and was seeming to disprove them. The incident had been reported to the OPP, and the graffiti had been removed.
