In Ottawa, Ontario, a fire broke out in the rear annex of St. Anthony of Padua Parish, reports Ottawa Citizen. There were no injuries and no serious damages to the Church. At around 3 p.m. is when the fire is reported to have started. Firefighters had blocked off the surrounding streets of the area, and kept the flames and smoke contained. Public fire information officer, Danielle Cardinal says that the fire started near a small concrete structure, and there might be a possibility of water damages. CTV News Ottawa reports that the cause of the fire is not known and is under investigation.
