In Sudbury, Ontario, St. Anne Des Pins Catholic Church’s baby Jesus face gets remade by a volunteer, as reported by The Guardian. The head of the baby Jesus had been targeted by vandals over the years, but this is the first incident in which the head had not been returned. The Church priest, Gerard Lajeunesse had reached out about local businesses making a new head for the baby Jesus. The statue of the Virgin Mary and baby Jesus now had a replacement. While the volunteer artist tried her hand at the crafting of the new head, the response to the orange clay head on the stone white statue were less than appreciative.
