A metal staff was stolen from the statue of St. Alphonsus Liguori at St. Alphonsus Liguori Church in Peterborough, Ontario, reports The Peterborough Examiner. The stolen staff was found later on in the Little Lake Cemetery, reports Toronto.com. The staff had been missing only a few days. After being reported missing, a person walking by the Cemetery had remembered the report and called the police.
