As reported by Kamloops This Week the perpetrator of three Church fires will be going to trial in Kamloops. The accused, August Caprian set and had intention of setting a fire at three separate Churches. Among the three was Sacred Heart Catholic Church (refered to as Shulus Catholic Church in the Kamloops This Week article). The Historic Murray Church had been completely burnt to the ground; Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Crossroads Community Church were affected. Caprian’s trial will begin on June 3, 2020.
