Sacred Heart Parish and St. Patrick Parish have been rocked by a defacement of their statue, Mary Queen of the World, reports SaltWire. The statue was covered in blue paintball paint, appearing to be pelleted. The associate priest of the parishes states that he hopes whoever did this was not intentionally trying to cause harm in any way. The fire department and community members offered their services in cleaning the statue. There is no investigation into the incident.
