Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery Headstones Knocked Over in Lebret, Saskatchewan

As reported by Regina Leader-Post, Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Lebret, Saskatchewan, had multiple headstones knocked over. Lebret’s Mayor, Ralph Blondeau stated his disapproval, admonishing the perpetrators crime. The total estimated amount for the repairs will be around $1, 500 seeing as the headstones are not insured.  The parish’s cemetery council and community members are able to cover the cost, however, residents of the area alerted of the incident felt that the vandals should pay for the damage they caused. The police investigation is still ongoing.
