In the early hours of Monday this week, a Roman Catholic Church in Alexander First Nation, Alberta was burned down reports the Edmonton Journal. The call came around 12:40 a.m. The Morinville RCMP have ruled the arson to be suspicious in nature. By the time firefighters from Alexander First Nation, Sturgeon County, Morinville the flames had taken over most of the church and very little remained after fighting the fire. The church is beyond saving. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Morinville RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
