As reported by CTV News a person visiting the Strathroy cemetery was robbed.
On August 23 at the All Saints Catholic Cemetery, an assailant threatened a person for their purse while the person was leaving the cemetery. The assailant had a weapon on him and threatened to use it against the victim if they did not comply by giving him the purse. The assailant fled the scene, exiting through a neighbouring cornfield.
The description of the assailant is a Caucasian man of height around 5 feet, 5 inches, having green eyes, wearing all black and having a black face covering. Police are investing the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact the police or crime stoppers.
