CTV News reports that Basilica Cathedral Notre-Dame de Quebec has had twenty Catholic saints’ relics stolen from its property sometime in early September. The Basilica in Quebec City, Quebec, housed saintly relics of Brother Andre and St. Kateri Tekakwitha and other saints. There were reports of a person breaking into the Basilica and stealing gold plated boxes which contained the bone fragments of these and local saints to the area. The are no leads to the investigation and the Basilica is working on obtaining new relics.
