Ici Radio Canada reports that orange graffiti had been found on the Precious Blood Church in Winnipeg on July 9, 2021.
The church had two statements written in orange graffiti on it. The statements made were political, one saying, “Save our children.” The Archdiocese decided against pressing charges for the graffiti vandalism.
Daniel Bahuaud, the communications coordinator for the archdiocese Saint-Boniface, states that this incident is a hurtful one to the community of the Precious Blood Church. Precious Blood Church belongs to the Archdiocese of Saint-Boniface.
Bahuaud also says that the graffiti can be cleaned and that police involvement was not going to happen.
