A grotto dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario has been severely damaged reports CTV News. Parishioners had found the set of statues- Our Lady of Fatima and the Children- broken, knocked over and damaged beyond repair. Police officers were called to the Church, and are investigating the matter. The statue of Our Lady is now placed behind plexiglass, however, the statues of the children are too damaged to fix. The pastor of the Church is trying to decide whether or not to replace them, worried that an incident may happen again. The police of the area ask that anyone with information come forward.
