January 2012 Nova Scotia
According to CBC News Eastern Passage RCMP are investigating after musical equipment had been stolen from St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Nova Scotia.
The perpetrators had broken into the church and stolen roughly $1,500 worth of equipment.
Reverend Johni Matthew says that lots of objects had been found all over the floor and cupboards had been pulled open with their contents strewn about.
After the discovery of the theft, the church services had been cancelled. A comment box had also been removed from a wall, possibly the perpetrators thinking that it held money.
Regardless of the loss of equipment the community pulled together and brought in items to replace the missing equipment so that music could be brought back to the church,
