Insauga reports that on February 1, there was evidence of two reports of vandalism at the Merciful Redeemer Parish in Mississauga, Ontario. These two counts of vandalism come after the 2021 vandalism during the 2021 Church Burnings. According to the Mississauga-Erin Mills MPP, Sheref Sabawy, the church has been targeted twice more with vandalism though it is not specified when exactly or what happened during these occurrences. Sabawy condemned the vandalisms in a statement saying that, ‘violence has no place in our province. . .’ No other information has been provided by the Peel Regional Police.
