Another Catholic church fire has been deemed as suspicious as reported by the Prince Albert RCMP in Saskatchewan.

On Friday 21, at roughly 11 p.m. the Garden River Fire Department were called to the scene of the historic church, Sts. Peter and Paul, a Polish church.

The church was established in 1910 and is considered a landmark in the Claytonville District of Garden River.

Shortly the Prince Albert RCMP were called and came up to the scene of the fire. The building was completely destroyed and no one was in the building at the time of the fire. It is believed by the community members that the fire was set deliberately, though there is no official statement made as of yet.

Prince Albert RCMP are asking that anyone with information come forward by contacting them at 310-RCMP or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
