Saint Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Calgary, Alberta, has been graffitied by vandals due to the lack of attention given to it from the Roman Catholic Diocese of Calgary reports National Trust for Canada. Originally built in 1904, this Church has been made a historic site and is currently out of use. There have been difficulties in moving forward with the restoration of the Church, as made apparent by the Old St. Patrick’s Preservation society. The Catholic Diocese and the owner of the land on which the Church stands, Mountain View Memorial Gardens have not brought any further proceedings of plans for the Church.
