As reported by CFTF on March 25, Cathedrale-Saint-Germain suffered immense damages when vandals broke in, in Rimouski, Quebec. The vandals forced a door and once inside, damaged the organ of the Church by tearing the organ pipes off the base, overturned flower pots, damaged or stole other objects. Vandals also spread the flower pots’ soil around the carpeting of the Cathedrale. Due to the nature of the break-in and the level of damage that the vandals inflicted to the Cathedrale, the Surete-du-Quebec are asking that anyone who was around the area at the time of the break-in to please come forward and contact them.
