In May of 2019, Denzil Sacred Heart Church was reported to have a break-in as covered by WestCentralOnline.
The young man, aged 21 years old, from Macklin, broke into the church and is facing several charges. He not only broke into the church, but also into a residence.
Officers who caught him charged him with two counts of breaking and entering, and uttering threats.
