As reported by Rebel News, the French Catholic Church, Saint-Simon-et-Saint-Jude suffered an arson attack to the church’s main lower level. The fire started at roughly 4:30 a.m. It did not spread however and was quickly put out. It was determined through the investigation by RCMP that the fire was intentionally lit. Caraquet RCMP ask that anyone with information contact them directly.
