CBC News reports that Blessed Sacrament Parish in Regina, Saskatchewan was set on fire on February 9. The fire fighters had been called to the scene around 4:30 A.M. They arrived to find that the back door of the church had been damaged from the fire. Police on the scene determined that the fire had been intentionally set. By using the church video recording of the man seen lighting the fire, police were able to locate the man and have him arrested and charged. The Regina police have charged the 31-year old man with arson with disregard for human life, disguise with intent, and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order. The man will also appear in court on February 20.
