TORONTO, ON March 18, 2013 – The Catholic Civil Rights League is pleased to announce that its President Philip Horgan is part of the Canadian delegation to visit the Holy See for the inauguration of Pope Francis.  Led by Governor General David Johnston, the delegation left Sunday and will return Wednesday, attending key events of the inauguration including the installation Mass Tuesday March 19.

“I’m humbled and honoured to be invited to take part in this historic event as part of the Canadian delegation,” said Mr. Horgan. “I know I take with me the congratulations and support of all League members for Pope Francis, and that they join me in prayers for his pontificate.”
