TORONTO, ON October 10, 2012 – Members and guests are invited to join us Wednesday October 24 for the League’s annual general meeting in Toronto. We begin with the 5:30 Mass at St. Michael’s Cathedral, which will be offered in memory of deceased members and supporters of the League. We will then proceed to the auditorium of St. Michael’s Choir School, just across the road at 66 Bond Street. Guest speaker Father Tom Lynch, national director of Priests for Life Canada, will discuss “Can We Cage the Beast? The place of legislation in a pluralistic society.”
The meeting will include the presentation of our financial statements for 2011 (calendar year) and activity report for 2011-2012 (October to October). We will also present the slate of directors for the coming year. You are a voting member of the League if your name and address are in our database and you have made a donation in the past year.
