TORONTO, May 4, 2011 – The League is pleased to announce that its annual dinner will take place June 2 in Toronto. The evening will feature Professor Donald DeMarco as guest speaker, and the presentation of the Archbishop Exner Award for Catholic Excellence in Public Life.

Dr. DeMarco, professor emeritus of St. Jerome’s University, Waterloo, Ont., is a popular columnist with numerous publications, including Catholic Insight. He is the author of several books, including The Heart of Virtue and (with Benjamin Wiker) Architects of the Culture of Death. Dr. DeMarco is currently serving as adjunct professor at Mater Ecclesiae College in Greenville, RI and at Holy Apostles College & Seminary in Cromwell, CT.
