Toronto, ON April 14, 2025 – As we journey through Holy Week, we are drawn into the profound mystery of Christ’s Passion, death, and Resurrection—a time when truth was put on trial, and love triumphed through sacrifice. At the Catholic Civil Rights League (CCRL), we strive daily to bear witness to that same truth in the public square, defending the religious freedom of Catholics, Catholic institutions, and standing with others facing persecution for their faith across Canada.

In an era when Catholic voices are increasingly challenged or sidelined, the CCRL stands firm: upholding conscience rights, safeguarding our freedom of religion, and resisting policies that undermine our ability to live out the Gospel freely and faithfully.

We cannot do this without your support.

Will you consider making a Holy Week donation to sustain our mission?

Your generosity will help us continue our advocacy, legal engagement, and public witness for the dignity of the human person and the rights of the faithful.

“If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you.” – John 15:18

Now more than ever, we must not grow weary in doing what is right. Your gift—large or small—is a powerful act of solidarity with those striving to keep Christ present in Canada’s public life.

With gratitude for your prayers and support this Holy Week and always,

Phil Horgan, CCRL President

Please accept our prayers that you may observe, be inspired, and find joy this Easter Triduum.
