As reported by Sootoday.com in Gaudette Township, Searchmont, Ontario, former St. Hubert Roman Catholic Church suffered a break in with significant damages between the days of April 24 to the 27.
The individual(s) responsible for the break in gained access through breaking the lock on the door. After entering, the individual(s) broke and smashed all the windows and lights. Furniture and hymn books were also damaged.
The property had been previously purchased by a resident and the church belongs to them. The church had ceased being operational.
