St. Albert 2009
As reported by the St. Albert Gazette vandals defaced the front entrance of the Father Lacombe Chapel. The vandals threw black paint across the building’s front.
The splash of paint was not in a particular pattern or outline. The Chair of the St. Albert Historical Society Ray Pinco said that he noticed the splash of paint on Sunday morning.
The Father Lacombe Chapel was constructed in the 1860s. Pinco also stated that it is the oldest building in Alberta.
