In Boisbriand, Quebec, an arson at the Notre Dame de Fatima Catholic Church left damages, reports CTV News.

The fire began at roughly 6:30 p.m. on the Monday, and was found to start at the back of the church. Firefighters took several hours to put out the flames and ensure there were no more areas of exposure to the fire.

Majority of the damage had been done to the roof of the back of the church, with little damage done to the walls of the church.

No one was hurt and the cause of the fire remains unknown, however, it is worth noticing that the fire did begin where the charitable donations were held.

Notre Dame de Fatima is Boisbriand’s only Catholic Church.
