As reported by CHCH News, a man had been caught on camera damaged the property of the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Hamilton, Ontario. On March 19 around 2 A.M. a man had thrown what appears to be bricks or stones into the windows of the Church, as well as ripping off the statue of Mother Mary from her base. The priest of St. Patrick’s, Fr. Tony O’Dell as well as one of their outreach workers, Leon Blais commented saying that the man who committed this crime looks familiar. The damages result in around 30,000 dollars. A police investigation is ongoing.
