The following notice is of particular interest to those in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). On Tuesday, December 15 we will be having our Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the hall of St. Pius X Church, 2305 Bloor Street West, M6S 1P1. We will begin 7 pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Our guest speaker is Alex Schadenberg of the Euthanasia Prevention Coalition (EPC). He will speak about the issue of conscience rights for health care workers, which is of critical importance particularly in light of the new Canadian regime of mercy killing launched last February by the Supreme Court of Canada with its overturning of provisions in law against assisted suicide.
