CCRL Statement on Liberal – Bloc Québécois Agreement on Bill C-9
The Catholic Civil Rights League seeks to raise alarm over the apparent agreement between the governing Liberal Party and the Bloc Québécois which provides for the passage of Bill C-9, which will seriously affect religious freedom of expression by denying a good faith defence arising from reliance upon religious texts or scriptural references.
Bearing Witness, Building Justice: A New Chapter for the CCRL’s Church Attacks Database
We are pleased to announce that a new and improved Church Attacks Database will launch in Fall 2025, alongside a fully revamped CCRL website. To bring this project to completion, we are launching a major fundraising campaign.
