Catholic Church in Sydney Nova Scotia Has Its Windows Broken by Vandals

in Sydney Nova Scotia, St. Anthony Daniel Church had been targeted by vandals who smashed in the lower basement hall windows. Thankfully, the vandals had not reached the upper level windows of the Church. The pastor of the parish, Bill Legge does not condemn those who have done the wrong, but he hopes that it will not happen again. The windows of the Church are now boarded up with wood planks. Legge states that he had seen the vandals come to the Church and that they had begun to throw the rocks. The police were called and they had left. Shortly after, they returned to continue the damage. There were not arrests made, only Legge’s hope for the vandals to not harm the Church any longer.
